Rules
  • The 24 drivers in this season's championship have been split up into 5 groups.
  • Each group contains teams of a similar standard:-
    • Group A: Mercedes, Red Bull
    • Group B: McLaren, Ferrari
    • Group C: Sauber, Williams, Renault
    • Group D: Force India, Toro Rosso
    • Group E: Lotus, Virgin, Hispania
  • You must pick a team of 7 drivers, consisting of 1 from Group A, 1 from Group B, 2 from Group C, 1 from Group D and 2 from Group E.
  • You cannot pick two drivers from the same Formula One team.
  • If, during the F1 season, a driver is replaced, either temporarily or permanently, by another driver, the new driver will gain points in their place.
  • Teams have the option of making up to 3 "pit-stops" during the season, where a driver may be replaced with another driver from the same group. Each change will cost 10 points. Multiple changes may be made simultaneously. Changes must be made before the beginning of the Grand Prix's first practice session for them to be valid for that race.
  • After each Formula One Grand Prix, points will be awarded to the drivers based on their finishing positions, using the race results (as detailed on the official Formula 1 website).
  • Points will be awarded as follows:

  • The scores of each individual driver are added together to give a fantasy team's total score for the Grand Prix.
  • For each Grand Prix, the fantasy team(s) with the highest score will be entered into a prize draw that will take place at the season's end. Each time a team gets a highest score in a Grand Prix, they will receive another entry into the draw. Since this draw is for the "second" prize, the Grand Prize winner (see below) will be unable to win this prize and any entries they have in the draw will be cancelled.
  • The scores of each fantasy team in each Grand Prix are added together to give the team's total score for the season.
  • At the end of the season, the fantasy team with the highest score will win the Grand Prize. If there is a tie, the team with the most race wins amongst their drivers will be declared the winner. If teams are still tied, the number of 2nd places will be used, then 3rd places, etc. If the teams are completely identical, the Grand Prize will be shared.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • The game will be played in accordance with The Rules as detailed above.
